FM-Web is a secure Internet
Fleet Management Bureau Service, that only requires
you to access your fleet information, anywhere,
anytime. You can control and monitor your fleet
without the need to install or update additional
software on your computer. If you can use a web
browser, you can use FM-Web!
The look, feel and functionality
of FM-Web is based on the VDO Fleet Manager 2002
Professional system, but includes additional features
such as exception emails, a security model and
targeted information delivery.
The FM-Web Bureau Service
takes care of downloading and managing your fleet
data, all you need is the appropriate Fleet Manager
hardware (e.g. on-board computer - VDO Fleet Manager
200 Plus) installed into your vehicles.
The revolutionary approach
provided by FM-Web is not just the technology
- it is the design concept.
The information finds you, rather than you having
to find the information. This is achieved by structuring
the system to suit you as an individual, and the
use of e-mail to transmit relevant information
in a focused manner. When certain event violations
occur, e-mail messages are targeted according
to whom best can use that information, and you
can also access your fleet reports at any time
over the Internet.

an optional extension to FM-Web, that
is installed on your computer. The Remote
Client provides you with additional
functionality such as more flexible
Active Tracking, the managing of Job
Messages and Free-text Messages and
managing of locations. The FM-Web Remote
Client for MapPoint supports Microsoft's
MapPoint Maps.
